• Intense anguish crisis, fear and discomfort that appears abruptly. •Crisis is accompanied by some of the following symptoms: palpitations, sweating, trembling, chest pain, lack of air sensation, nausea, abdominal pain, fear of dying.
• S/he has "repetitive" thoughts about something (obsessions) and "repetitive" acts or behaviour (compulsions) which cause discomfort and interfere with he/his social and family life. Examples: s/he thinks is dirty, s/he washes her/his hands constantly, clean and place things, verify doors are closed, switches off, among others.
• Anguish, painful memories and nightmares about a traumatic event (relative death, accident, violent situation) • S/he avoids every situation that reminds her/him of the event Besides s/he may have: sleeping problems (that didn´t have before the trauma, lack of concentration, distress, loss interest in things, distancing with people)
