Urease test
Non-invasive examination, which consists in the detection of the bacteria called Helicobacter Pylori, that can be found on your stomach or duodenum.
A liquid containing marked urea (a compound which is metabolised in the body) is drank, and the expired (exhaled) air is collected afterwards.

Uric acid (pediatric)
Uric acid is a compound produced when the body decomposes substances, called purine. Purines are in some food and beverages, such as red meat, shellfish, lentils, chickpea and alcoholic beverage.
The examination measures the value of uric acid in blood
For its examination a blood sample is taken from a vein (venipuncture)
Normal Values:
Newborn: 2-6,2 mg/dl
Children: 3,5-7 mg/dl
Normal values vary based on the laboratory
Uric Acid in 24-hours urine
Normal value of Uric Acid in urine of an entire day.
Uric Acid: 520 ± 147 mg/day/1,73 m2
Uric Acid in urine in 24 hours
Normal Value of Uric Acid in urine collected during a whole day:

For this test a sample of urine of a day (collected during 24 hs)
Normal value (based on the method used):
10-90 µg/24 hours (with RIA)
12-103 µg/24 hours (with Chemiluminescence)
Values vary based on the laboratory
