Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

It's a therapy that helps changing the way of thinking ("cognitive") and behave ("behavioral") and it makes these changes help feeling better. Unlike other therapies, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy focuses on problems and difficulties of the "here and now" It's useful for the treatment of anxiety, panic, phobia, obsessive-compulsive disorders, post-traumatic stress disorders, among others.

It is used as a treatment for Sleep obstructive Apnea-Hypopnea, among other diseases.

Contracture suspicion Physical Examination

The doctor may perform the following examination or exploration:
.Control of Cardiac Frequency (Normal: 60 to 100 beats/minute)
.Control of Breathing Frequency (Normal: 16 to 20 breathing cycles/minute)
.Control of Temperature (Normal: 36,5 - 37 °C)
.Control of Blood Pressure (Normal: ≤ 120/80 mmHg)
Examination of the affected muscular area:
.Observation (or inspection)
.Palpation (or touching)
Evaluation of mobility and it disabilities
Evaluation of the appearance or intensification of the pain during muscular contraction and elongation movements, together or individually
Skin examination

Conventional Appendectomy

Copro-parasitological study

Several stool samples are taken in different days. It detects the presence of parasites.

Coronary Angiography

It is a procedure used to observe the way the blood flows through the heart. To do that, a special dye is used (contrast material) that will pass, throught a catheter or tube, from a vessel to the heart and with radiographies is is possible to see how the dye moves throught the vessel.

Corticotropin (ACTH)

Corticotropin (ACTH) is a hormone released in blood by the pituitary gland, located in the brain.
Corticotropin test measures the amount of this hormone in blood.
For its examination a sample of blood is taken from a vein (venipuncture)
Normal value: 9 to 59 pg/ml
